Confetti bursts at the conclusion of the recent MDA Summer Camp! Posted by Hello

Special thanks to the Everyday Circus for introducing me to the wonderful folks at the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Their summer camp program is one of the most exciting & eventful weeks of the year for these awesome young people. I was honored to be a part of that incredible experience & hope I have the opportunity to return again next year.

Notice the TOTALLY excited kid in the middle! Yes, I sure have a way with children! Posted by Hello

Just got back from West Virginia! Wow! What an incrediblly beautiful place that is. I flew into Pittsburg and drove the almost 2.5 hours to an area near West Union, WV. The scenery was incredible (once past all the road construction). Lush, green mountains dramatically framed the winding road and small towns.

But the people were even nicer though! Okay, so it was 100 degrees, 100% humitity, I was stung by some flying thing I've never seen before, & the electricity wasn't strong enough for me to use music, but despite all of that, I think we all had a good time.

The 4-H campers, while tired, hot & swatting at bugs the whole time, were some of the nicest kids you'll ever meet. They certainly laughed, smiled & had a lot of fun. During the autograph session after the show, a couple kids even asked for a hug! And as I drove away, honking & waving, one kid was chasing after me, "You're awesome! You're awesome!"

Thanks West Virginia University for such an amazing experience. Keep laughing, smiling & having fun!
