THERE IS NO COMPETITION

Strive to contribute something so unique, competition isn't something with which you struggle.

This can mean so many things. Stick with me here...

Whether you're an employee, a business owner, or even in a personal relationship, find your Unique.

Your Unique may be something at which you're uniquely good.
Your Unique may be something unique about you as a person.
Your Unique may be something you know, which others don't.

Are you starting to understand?

I'm not the only comedy magician in the world. Heck, I'm not even the funniest comedy magician in the world. But I AM the only ME in the world. I'm not imitating other comedy magicians. I'm just striving to find my Unique voice in each show.

(Level Up: each show and each audience is Unique too!)

I've learned that my audiences love my show not because I'm a better or funnier magician than some other comedy magician they've seen. They love my show because there's just something Unique about my show they've never seen.

To be honest, this didn't happen over night. It's taken me years to find my Unique voice as a performer. I continue to work on it all the time.

Find your Unique and you'll soon find you too have no competition.

Back in the Game!

BACK IN THE GAME! (Please subscribe to my blog!)

I only have a couple of minutes to post something, but I wanted to say how excited I am to be writing again. Of course, I write every day in my day job, but it's not the same. Sometimes it affords me the opportunity to be expressive, original, and creative, but mostly legal writing is considered technical.

On this blog, I'll share my experiences and knowledge from my life as a magician of almost 40 years and as a lawyer of almost 10 years. Mostly, I hope it will be fun, funny, and insightful.

I also want to hear from YOU! Share your ideas, stories, and questions!
